Festive season means shopping for clothes ,jewellery makeup and Skincare.
Personally I like decluttering and stacking up new things all together .
So As I was going through my makeup stack I realised I have some of my  favorite  beautiful red/orange lipshades which are perfect for this bright festive season.
All the shades mentioned are budget friendly and easily available.

1. Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Red Stop:
This is a beautiful Orange Shade with red undertone.It falls in Creamy Matte category .The staying power is less since its not transfer poof. Available in  185 INR.Apt for college going students.This shade suits fair to Medium skintone.

 2. Faces Go Chic Two Timing :
Now this is one of my favorite shade .Its dark Orange with red undertones.It falls in Matte category,when applied its creamy and takes around a minute to set completely.Its not completely transferproof but survives a meal and stays for good 3-4hrs.This shade will suit all skintones and available easily in 250 INR.

3.M.A.C Lady Danger:
This is one lipstick I cant stay without.It tops my favorite list and a go to lipshade .This is a poppy dark orange which instantly brightens up face.It looks orange at day light and red lipstick with orange undertone at night.Its on higher price range of around 1500 INR on Nykaa.This shade goes with all skintones and look amazingly beautiful.It has creamy consistency on application and become matte in a minute.Stays for good 4 hrs.

4.MI Fashion Red Alert:
This lipstick really surprised me with the quality.It has awesome pigmentation with long staying power.This is a bright red shade and settles onto matte finish within seconds.The quality is at par to all big brands.Trust me you guys should definitely try this brand once.Its so affordable like 450 for 4 lipshades.

 5. Lakme Absolute Sculpt Tangerine Lush:
This is a true orange shade.Very poppy and bright.Its perfect for summers day and night both.It brightens up the face instantly.Its perfect matte and stays for good 4-5 hours.It has been my favorite orange shade so far.Its priced at around 750 INR.

 6.Lakme 9to5 Red Coat:
Now this is true dark red with awesome pigmentation.Its towards maroon shade.Its creamy on application and settles to matte after few sec.It looks gorgeous on all skintones and goes beautiful with ethnic look.Its priced for around 400 INR.

 7.Incolor Matte Red:
This lipshade falls under liquid lipstick which is easy to apply and turns completely matte within seconds.It is a bright red shade which looks very poopy.Its perfect party shade .I got this shade from local shop for 250INR.Only downside I see is that lips stick post applying this lipstick.

Lakme Enrich Lip Crayon Shade Red Stop Review and Swatches.

Hello Friends ,So its been long I have reviewed a lipshade. So today I have the newly launched Lip crayons from Lakme .And the shade is Lakme Enrich Red Stop.So these crayons fall in category of Creamy Matte as they are moisturizing and have matte finish too.What Lakme claims:Get smooth and matte finish lips with this lip colour crayon by Lakmé that is infused with mineral powders. It has a soft texture and is available in 10 gorgeous shades that suit all Indian skin tones. It also has a rich blend of olive and jojoba oil that simultaneously conditions your lips. For your convenience, the all new Lakmé Enrich Lip Crayon comes with a sharpener.

Red Stop is a beautiful orange with red hint.It is nowhere red as what name says.It instantly lightens up the face.The shade will go for all skin tones.It looks bright Orange in day light and light red at night. 

Packaging:The crayons come in shape of cute crayon sticks same as those we use to use in school days   They come with a sharpener as you need to sharpen them once they loose the tip.The black cap is sturdy and travel friendly.

Price : INR 185 for 2.2 gms.

Texture & Staying Power:
The texture is smooth to apply on lips but have wax like feeling which could be turn off for some.
The Staying power of these lippies is less.Without meals and drink it stayed for 3hours on my lips.They wear off easily and are not transfer proof.

Pigmentation:
The pigmentation of Red Stop is pretty decent.You would need atleast 2 swipes to get good color buildup.

Direction to apply:

• Step 1: Open the cap and start applying the product from the centre of your upper lip.Step 2: Worked from the centre towards the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth.Step 3: Glide the product across the entire bottom lip.Step 4: This step is optional but you could use a tissue to blot out the extra product.

• Have to sharpen the crayons ,Gives a waxy feeling to the lips and Easily Transferrable

My Take:I was super excited when I heard that Lakme is launching Lip Crayons.But Believe me I am not very happy with my experience.It did not meet my expectations.The staying power is very less also the texture is waxy sort of. The crayons do not dry up lips and are moisturizing.They do transfer hence reapplication would be required post meal or drinks.They are neither creamy nor matte hence fall under Creamy Matte category.If you like to experiment with various types of lippies in market you can definitely give it a try or else skip it.

Lakme has many good shades and series in their bag.
Will I be repurchasing the shade ?  Nopes.

Usage: There are several ways to use this gel .Few of my favorites are listed here .

• Apply good layer of gel on face and massage till it gets absorbed,leave it overnight and wash off in the morning.
• Mix it with Vitamin E oil and apply 1 hour before taking bath.
• Mix equal quantity of Aloevera gel and oliveoil mix and apply on scalp.Leave for 1 hour and wash off with a mild shampoo.
• Use it as a primer before doing makeup.

My Take:
I absolutely love this gel.The consistency is so apt that I can even use it in summers or hot weather.It absorbs quickly and moisturizes the skin for good 3-4 hours.I use it every day after bath.It acts best as a primer for makeup too.It has very light refreshing fragrance which is not at all bothering to sensitive nose.
It acts best when you see onset of pimples .It helps to cool the skin and pamper the skin.
I earlier used Patanjali Aloevera gel but after using this gel I am sure that I am not gonna change it now till I get a good option :) .
I would definitely recommend this gel for teenage/adult skin.
A big thumbs up to the product.Yes I would definitely repurchase.

Sleek Facial Hair remover wax:Katori Wax Usage and Review

 

Maximum Indian girls face issues with facial hairs either due to hormonal imbalance or genes.
So What do you prefer, face threading or facial wax??
Well from last one decade I had always sticked to generic facial threading only but due to sudden hormonal imbalance in my body I realized that the growth of my facial hairs has increased a lot .
Well that was alarming and I was not very comfortable with threading all over face.
So thought of trying out facial " Katori Wax " popularly called .I researched a bit on it and then got "Sleek Katori Wax" .
So lets find out how it turned out to be.
Product: Sleek Facial Hair Remover.(Pliable Wax)
Quantity: 80gm
Packaging : Comes in a metal bowl or Katori which can be directly placed in wax heater with a strong plastic spatula.

 

Method to Use:
Place the metal bowl or Katori in hot water or in wax heater .It warms up quickly.Once it liquidify check the temperature and apply on face in the direction of hair growth.
It cools down really fast.Once it cools down and solidify within 30 seconds Pull off the wax layer in direction Opposite to hair growth.
Clean with cold water or rub ice cubes.
Apply Aloe Vera gel on the area and massage for 2 minutes.

My Take :
I was very scared and skeptical about using Facial Wax as I have never used it before.To be on safer side I did a patch test on my neck area and when I was completely assured I did on face.
I used this wax for Upper Lips ,Chin and Side Locks.

For me the pain was much much less as that compared to threading.And the results also were amazing.Since there are no strips required the process is very simple.
Just apply the wax once cool pull it.
Only thing to take care about is it cools down very quick so one has to be quick in doing the process.
The wax has typical honey smell which is not at all overpowering .
I did not get any type of allergy or side effects post this usage.
But once wax was done my skin was baby soft.
I have never felt this feeling before.The face was so clean and soft that I actually kept touching my cheeks whole day (hehehe)
I have totally loved the overall experience and definitely this is in my routine now.
I just wonder why I dint discover it before. :)
So big thumbs up to this product and yes I will definitely repurchase.

So the below review is based on my one week one brand regime.I used facewash twice a day and pack once in 2 days .
Chocolate Powdered Facewash
Method to Use:So I mix the required quantity with rose water and massage on face for 2 minutes in circular motion.

Since Its chocolate the aroma is so strong that I literally felt like eating it while applying.You can actually feel the presence of natural ingredients as it feels so fresh and relaxed after washing face.The best part of the facewash is it does not dries up your skin .It helps in retaining essential moisture of skin.So it works great for people with dry skin like me.
Greentea Powdered Facewash
Method to Use:mix the required quantity with water and massage on face for 2 minutes in circular motion.

The Active Ingredient of this Facewash is greentea.And we all know the innumerable advantages of Green tea for body and skin.It is loaded with antioxidants and nutrients that have powerful effects on the body and skin.This Facewash suits sensitive and acne prone skin too.Many times when my skin craves for heal I use this facewash.It helps in soothing skin killing bacteria and shields from any new pimples popping in.Out of the lot this Facewash is my favoite so far.Its very gentle on skin and provides perfect lather to deep clean the skin natually.Its very helpful for pigmented skin.With its continuous use I have noticed my acne marks and pigmentation has reduced to great extend.
